“Matvest Energy employs a team of highly experienced people who have worked locally and internationally in areas ranging from energy strategy, policy formulation, land, agriculture and rural development, through to project design, development, management and implementation.”
We work with local communities and land owners to create a synergize their economic development needs with investors to develop projects that make a difference and are of mutual benefit to both. We aim to address a range of today’s environmental, social and economic challenges South Africa and the rest of African countries face.
We value community participation because only through that it can we achieve long term sustainable development of our societies. The company has recently entered the IPP space as a developer and are currently working on several solar and wind projects with land owners and communities in preparation to submit for window 7 of the Renewable Energy Independent Producers Procurement Programme(REIPPPP).
